It may seem crazy, but my passion for light is our clients blessing. Since I was a child I have had a fascination with lights. All kinds of light, flashlights to headlights, all the way to underbody lighting kits for my cars, I have been intrigued with lighting.
I enjoyed a tour in corporate America managing big box retail stores for more than 10 years. In time the grind of travel and volatility plagued me daily. I began to wrestle daily and then the decision was made for me. I was laid off, without warning.
It took some time, but I finally came to realize I was not in control of all the “things” and experiences that I had acquired were not from my own merits. It was HIS grace.
With nothing but time, I decided to donate some lights I had in the garage along with the labor to install them. Our subdivision was nice, but way too dark I thought to myself. It was in that time with Him and nothing else He revealed to me the opportunity and my purpose. To bring light into the darkness. After all that is my calling as His child.
We Are The Light was born! Truthfully, I was not a fan of the name, nevertheless I was obedient. The name comes from scripture found in Matthew 5. I wanted the company to make a difference in the lives of the people I served and the team that serves them.
We are building a company that makes a difference in the lives of people we serve. A company focused on bringing joy and peace and to give Glory to our King.
